Mortgage & Protection AdviceThe Smart Financial Choice.

Most people learn what financial risk means only after it happens. Our risk simulator shows you first — what lost or reduced income could mean for the mortgage you'll carry for decades, and for your financial stability — while every option is still open to you.

The ProActivLife Promise

No client ever leaves with half a plan.

Educate, advise, arrange, support — the four stages every client moves through, at every life stage.

Every client journey moves through all four. No stage is optional.

Meet The Advisers

Your adviser. Your language. Your community.

Mortgages and protection are complicated enough without doing it in a second language. Our advisers speak seven between them — so you can ask the difficult questions in the language you think in.

The Complete Picture

Support for every stage of life

A mortgage without protection is incomplete. Protection without your mortgage in view is incomplete. Your home, your health, your wealth, your future — completely advised, at every stage.

Mortgages

Buy well. Remortgage wisely.

A mortgage isn't a product you pick once. It's a series of decisions across thirty years — and each one either costs you money or saves it.

Save now
What the right decisions are worth in the first few years
A wider search than your own bank — so you're not paying more simply because you only asked them
True cost, not the headline rate — so a low rate with a big fee can't fool you into the dearer deal
Product transfer compared — so you don't pay legal and valuation fees you never needed to
Rate matched to your plans — so you're not locked into a fix you'll later pay to escape
Deposit thresholds targeted — so a few hundred more in deposit can move you into a cheaper band
Rate re-checked before completion — so a falling market works for you, not for the lender
Save over the years
What those decisions are worth by the time the mortgage is gone
Term shortened, not reset — so you finish years earlier instead of restarting the clock
Overpayment plan — so a small monthly extra can take years off the term
Protection alongside — so illness or injury can't undo everything you've built
Rate ported when you move — so a good rate moves house with you instead of being lost
Offset arrangement — so your savings work against your mortgage instead of earning less than it costs you
Capital raising structured — so borrowing more doesn't quietly cost more than it should

Start With The Numbers

Before you talk to anyone, see the numbers for yourself.

Free, instant and without a credit check — an indication of what you could borrow in about thirty seconds.

Free · instant · no credit check
Estimated maximum borrowing
£0
£0 budget with deposit £0 indicative —

Indicative only — not an offer, a quotation or advice. Based on a typical 4–4.5× income multiple and an illustrative rate, not a specific product. Your figure depends on your full circumstances, outgoings and credit profile.

We’ll use your email to send this figure and have one adviser follow it up — nothing else. No mailing list, no sharing, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Privacy Policy.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Protection

Protect your financial stability

Your income is the stabiliser everything else rests on — the mortgage, the family, the plans you've made. Protection is what holds that stability in place when your income can't.

Advice comes after the simulation, never before. In your first meeting we run the Financial Fitness Test — our risk simulator — so you can see what each risk would actually do to your household. Only then do we advise on which stabiliser adds the most resilience for you.
Your financial stabilisers
Advice on a carefully selected range of insurers — with no fee to you
Income protection — replaces the earnings your stability depends on
Life cover — designed to clear the mortgage so your family can stay
Serious illness cover — can pay on diagnosis, when everything changes
Cover sized to your actual mortgage, not to a guess
In place before you need it, while every option is still open

Income Protection

Protect your ability to earn

Your income is your most important financial asset. Replace a proportion of it if illness or injury stops you working — for as long as you need, up to retirement.

  • Deferred periods aligned to your sick pay and savings
  • Covers illness, injury & disability
  • Tailored to your occupation
  • Critical if you're self-employed — there's no safety net

Life Cover

Financial security for the people you love

A tax-free lump sum paid to your loved ones if you pass away — protecting your family and your mortgage, so they never have to worry about the house.

  • Level & decreasing term options
  • Aligned to your mortgage liability
  • Trust arrangements — so it pays promptly, as intended
  • Whole of life cover available
Learn more →
Critical Illness Cover

A lump sum if a serious condition is diagnosed

Pays a one-off tax-free lump sum if you are diagnosed with one of the conditions the policy lists, and that diagnosis meets the definition set out in the policy. Most commonly used to clear or reduce the mortgage so that treatment and recovery are not happening alongside a money problem.

  • A single lump sum, paid on a qualifying diagnosis
  • Conditions and definitions are set out in the policy — we go through them with you before you apply
  • Usually arranged alongside life cover, often on one policy
  • Cancer is the most common reason a claim is made
Learn more →
Serious Illness Cover

A payment scaled to how serious the diagnosis is

A different structure, offered by some insurers. Instead of one fixed sum on a qualifying diagnosis, the payment is proportionate to the severity of the condition — which means it can pay at an earlier stage, and can pay more than once for separate conditions.

  • Payment is proportionate to the severity of the diagnosis
  • Can pay at an earlier stage than a fixed lump-sum policy
  • Can pay more than once, for separate conditions
  • Which structure suits you depends on your circumstances — that is the conversation, not a foregone conclusion

Client Scenarios — Illustrative Examples
SJ
Sarah, 34
Nurse, Manchester
Income Protection

Sarah had a slip and fall at work and couldn't return to nursing for 7 months. Without income protection, she would have relied solely on statutory sick pay of £116/week. Her policy paid 60% of her salary throughout her recovery.

Her mortgage and bills were covered throughout.
MT
Mark & Tracy, 41
Self-employed, Birmingham
Serious illness cover

Mark was diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer aged 41. His serious illness cover paid a £75,000 lump sum on diagnosis — allowing him to take time off work without financial worry and access private treatment faster.

Family finances protected during recovery.
PL
Priya, 29
First-time buyer, London
Life Cover + Mortgage Protection

Priya bought her first home and wanted to make sure her parents — who helped with the deposit — would never lose it. A life policy aligned to her mortgage gave her peace of mind from day one, at under £12/month.

Full peace of mind from her very first month.
Client Reviews

Trusted guidance when it matters most

Protecting lives. Empowering futures.

Every client we advise is invited to review their adviser once their case completes — and every review we receive counts, whatever it says.

We are not showing a review score yet

Our new review system goes live with this site, and the first scores will be published as real clients complete their cases. Until then there is nothing here — because a score we had not earned yet would tell you nothing about us, except that we were willing to invent one.

When it does appear, here is how it will work. Every client is invited to review their adviser once their case completes. The score is the average of every review received — not a selection, not a shortlist, not the good ones. Reviews appear most recent first, never sorted or filtered by rating. We moderate only to remove personal data or abusive content, and never to remove a low score. Where a review is critical, the adviser has a right of reply and you will see it alongside.

Fake and incentivised reviews are illegal under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. We would not publish them regardless, but you are entitled to know the rule exists and applies to us.

Important information
  • Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
  • Think carefully before securing other debts against your home. Consolidating debt into a mortgage may reduce your monthly payments but increase the total amount you repay.
  • Most buy-to-let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
  • Protection cover is subject to eligibility, underwriting, terms and exclusions. Premiums and benefits depend on your individual circumstances and the insurer's assessment of your health and lifestyle. Cover ends if you stop paying premiums.
  • Will writing, trusts, estate planning and referrals to solicitors are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
